Rainbow Pom-Pom Camels

Create a dazzling camel inspired by Mother’s® Circus Animal Cookies.

Materials

  • Paper plates (white)
  • Felt (light pink)
  • Pom poms
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Black permanent marker
  • Hot glue gun

Instructions

  1. Cut the paper plate in half. One half will be for the head, neck, ear, and legs, and the other half for the body.
  2. Lightly sketch a hump, tail, and lower neck section on one half of the plate. Then, cut out the excess.
  3. Lightly sketch a head-neck piece on the other half of the plate. Continue to lightly sketch an ear and four leg pieces on the remaining scrap paper.
  4. Use a hot glue gun to assemble the camel together by gluing the head-neck, legs, and ear onto the body.
  5. Next, cut out an inner ear piece with the felt and glue it into the ear.
  6. For facial details, use the black permanent marker to draw on an eye, nose, and mouth.
  7. For final details, glue the pom poms onto the body as sprinkles! Then let the camel dry.
