Frosted Animal Spotter Binoculars

Craft your own binoculars and unlock a world of cookies.

Materials

  • Two toilet paper rolls
  • Construction paper (pink or blue)
  • Glitter paper (purple and gold)
  • Pom-poms
  • Washi tape (brightly-colored masking tape)
  • Scissors
  • Craft tape
  • Tape
  • Black permanent marker
  • Yarn
  • Mother’s® Circus Animal Cookies

Instructions

  1. With the construction paper around the toilet paper rolls, and cut the paper as needed to cover the outside of the rolls completely. Then, glue the construction paper to each of the rolls.
  2. Decorate each of the rolls by gluing on strips of glitter paper, pom-poms, and washi tape. Then, use your black permanent marker as you wish.
  3. Approximately a quarter from one edge of the roll, glue a strip of gold glitter paper to create a connector piece that wraps around the two rolls. Ensure there is a little space in between so you can see through each roll.
  4. Cut out a piece of yarn that is long enough to dangle comfortably around your child’s neck. Then tape one end of the yarn onto the inside of one of the rolls (closer to the connector piece). Repeat this process for the other toilet paper roll.

How to Play

Let the adventures begin by hiding our Circus Animal cookies by animal (i.e., elephant, camel, lion, etc.) in different rooms. You can indicate which animal is in a room by printing out pawprints and placing them on the ground, so your child knows which animal to look for. Unleash your inner explorer and discover our Circus Animal cookies with your fun binoculars.
