Circus Animal® Safari Diorama

Create a mini safari world where Mother’s® Circus Animal Cookies come to life!

Materials

  • Construction paper (green, yellow, white, brown, pink)
  • Shoe box
  • Acrylic paint (blue, green)
  • Markers
  • Glue
  • Paintbrushes
  • Scissors
  • Mother’s Circus Animal Cookies

Instructions

  1. Paint your shoe box to create the background – blue paint for the sky and green paint for the ground.
  2. Using yellow construction paper, cut out a semi-circle shape to make the sun. Then glue it to the back wall.
  3. Using green construction paper, cut a mountain/hill shape then glue it to the back wall.
  4. Use white construction paper, cut out a few cloud shapes then glue them to the back wall.
  5. Use green construction paper, cut out several tree canopies. Then use brown construction paper to cut out a tree trunk and branch shapes.
  6. Arrange the canopies on top of the tree trunks and glue them onto the branches. Fold back a portion of the bottom of the trunk. Then add glue on the folded portion and secure it on the grass foreground so it is upright. Repeat this step one more time to create a second tree.
  7. Cut out a few grass clusters using green construction paper and fold back a portion of the base. Then add glue on the folded portion and secure it on the grass foreground so it is upright.
  8. Place your Mother’s Circus Animal Cookies within your safari scene.
